MIPIM is known as the largest and the most important real estate investment forum in Europe. This is the main international event in the real estate sector which brings together all authoritative people of this market, from investors to future tenants, in only 4 days. A total of 85 countries participated this year which is a record. In addition, more than 80 Russian investment projects were represented; 14 Russian Regions and more than 150 different financial investment companies took part in the forum. Every year new development and investment projects are presented at MIPIM.
Storm Properties was represented by Kirill Pisarev, Chairman of the Board, Michael Belton, President, Mikhail Kurnev, CEO, Lance Cornils, Senior Investment Officer and Members of the Board Robert Rackind and Edouard Fernandez.
“These 4 days were very intensive and productive for our business. Participation in the Russian Breakfast, a number of meetings and negotiations promoted progress of new mutually beneficial business relations. However, the exhibition again emphasized that there are two different parallel worlds – the world of Russia with Eastern Europe and Western Europe with those East European countries which are trying to join it. It would be great to see more interpenetration of these two different worlds,” – Mikhail Kurnev noted.
Storm Properties met with top managers of such companies as: Credit Suisse, Cushman & Wakefield, Deutsche Bank, Heitman, Jones Lange LaSalle, Intermark, Sberbank, Sponda, and others.
Storm Properties is confident that its participation in MIPIM-2011 will help bolster and expand business this year.
